However, Choice Energy identified that two of the park’s meters qualified for a C&I contract due to their high usage. Allowing them to fix their rates over a period of time.
Big4 Wye River is projected to save $27,890 per year in energy costs thanks to the C&I energy contract, which offers a cheaper overall rate. Over the course of a 3-year contract, this would result in total savings of $83,670. Further to this, Choice Energy will measure their bill each month through their bill validation service to ensure their retailer is charging the caravan park the right amount.
Additionally, BIG4 had new holiday cabins at their site, which meant that their energy consumption would increase as their capacity grew. By having a C&I contract, the customer has the flexibility to reduce costs while their business expands.
