Established in 1918, Holy Rosary School White Hills has a long and proud history in the White Hills area.
From humble beginnings, as two nuns were brought to Holy Rosary School White Hills in a horse-drawn cab each day, through to the vibrant and flourishing community it is today.
The administrators’ dedication to high-quality education saw them seek a solution to rising energy bills, as well as reflect the need to accommodate and appeal to new students and families with values centred around improved environmental outcomes.
How We Helped
After conducting an assessment of the school’s bills and usage, Choice Energy conducted a commercial solar feasibility assessment on the site, revealing an opportunity for cost-effective solar energy.
Choice devised a 30kW solar system, expected to produce more than 35,000 kWh per year. This system has the ability to offset the carbon footprint of more than 10 homes and provide around 25 years of daytime electricity.
