Operating out of a custom-built 6,000 square metre production facility, the business has consistently been recognised as the Best National Truss Plant by the Frame and Truss Manufacturer’s Association.
With the business’ continual expansion of its manufacturing operation, came consistently rising power costs which peaked at over $80,000 per annum.

The installation of the solar system coincided with the fitting of LED lighting in the production plant, consistent with their environmentally-friendly vision and further reducing the business’ carbon footprint.
Rather than paying the energy retailer for metering and getting no value back, BB Truss & Timber had an independent meter installed at no extra cost and now have Choice Energy validating the accuracy of its monthly bills.
